Fender Stratocaster Reverse Prototype

Although Jimi never played this specific model, he definitely inspired it with its reversed headstock and 1969 pick-ups.

Technical mastery is not always a necessary quality of a legendary musician. Kurt Cobain's sound was influential and distinct and the band Nirvana continued to pave the way for Rock long after the death of their frontman.

Fender Jaguar

Fender Jaguar

This guitar which was designed by Fender in the 1960's to cater to the surf guitar sound. The Jaguar is an unusual Fender guitar with its floating tremolo system and dual single coil Dragster pick-ups. The third switch on the lower portion of the guitar is called the "strangle" switch and was popular among surf guitarists.

Fender Mustang

Fender Mustang

The Mustang is similar to the Jaguar in many respects such as the short scale neck and two single coil pick-ups. Each pick-up features a three position switch which switches the pick-up on and off. The third position was an unusual "phasing" option for when both pick-ups were on. The bridge's unique tailpiece and floating tremolo differentiate this model from other Fender guitars.
